Philly to Africa Experience
The Philly to Africa Experience, powered by Travel Deeper Inc., is a cultural exchange taking Black youth from Philadelphia to Ghana for a journey of heritage, healing, and leadership. Through service projects, heritage tours, and youth exchanges, participants gain skills, pride, and purpose while reconnecting with their roots. This initiative is made possible with the support of partners including Eclectic Love, Explore Ghana Tours, Zionland Creation, Creative Kiosk, Channel Andrews Consultations, and local community organizations across Ghana. Over the course of the trip, participants volunteer with local organizations, engage in service projects, and connect with Ghanaian youth through hands-on learning and cultural exchange. From cleaning beaches with the Kokrobite Cultural Troupe, to STEM projects with Africa STEM Academy, to upcycling workshops with Mckingtorch Africa, youth gain real-world skills while building cross-continental friendships.

Uterine fibroids affect over 70% of Black women, globally. This is a critical issue that goes unlooked in our communities and healthcare systems.
To activate solutions, this December, Travel Deeper Inc. will host “A Journey to Womb Wealth and Wellness.” The event is an onsite activation, part of a year-long Fibroid Awareness Campaign, focused on connecting Black women across the global diaspora and raising awareness about women’s health.

For our founder, Kisha’s birthday and in celebration of women’s history month, we are partnering once again with Bridge to Africa Connection to raise donations for women and girls in Ghana. This year, we will be raising money to support farmers in Mampong Bunuso and supply women and girls in the Ashanti region with hygiene products. Check out the photos below!
